Today we were leaning about a good comments and things that should be our blog  and what should not be on your blog.

I found easy I found easy duplicating the thumbs up in thumbs down  of the project.    

I found hard writing comments in between me and Mia .

Te Reo Introductions

 

Road Safety

Today we were learning to be safe on the road and we were learning to use imovie on the ipad to share our road safety message. We had to use mahi tahi because we worked in groups.

I found it hard to collaborate with my team because we were not listening to each other.

I found it easy to make the videos using the i-movie trailer.

Next time I need to collaborate with my team.

My Writing

 

For our writing we have been writing Narratives. We have been learning to add a great hook in or opening line to our writing and to start our sentences in different ways.

This week we also had to have a smile and alliteration in our writing. This slide shows my hook in, sentence beginnings, simile and alliteration.

We are using our Kaiwhakarite/Self Manager learning asset by reflecting on our learning.

We looked at the poem by William Carlos, This is just to say.  

 Then we had to write our own poem about one of our experiences.  This is my one.

School Triathlon

 Yesterday we had the school triathlon at Nelson Park and the Enterprise Pool.  

I found it hard chasing Anaru in the pool because he jumped in the pool and I came after him but I did pass him. 

I was in a team with Jodi and Michael.  Jodi ran and came 3 and Michael biked and also came 3 and I swam and came 1st. 

We came first in the boys teams race.  I felt happy and proud of my team.

Te Whare Tapa Wha

 We were learning about Te whare Tapa wha which is HAUORA / health. We were asked to make a connection map to show what hauora looks like for us.

I found it easy to spell all the words.

I found it hard to find all the the images that I wanted to use.

I really enjoyed figuring out what to say.

Next time I need to use more words in my writing.
